The runway at Ras Al Hadd. Oman is approximately 5,000 ft. long enough to land a 777. Now if the plane climbed to 45,000 ft as it turned Westward the passengers likely all fell asleep and this is why there were no texts or phone messages. However, this is all speculation, nobody knows at this point.....
Where would they go from Oman... Google Map

Google Map Showing Malaysia to Oman, Ras al Hadd runway...
Wow, this is the best theory yet.
ReplyDeleteI zoomed out on the Google map. Makes sense to me
ReplyDeleteInteresting. I think there alive..
ReplyDeleteI think THEY'RE alive too
DeleteWho lost 65 Billion, and why would they take a plane and 239 people hostage.
ReplyDeleteDid pilots have investments in UAE , Oman
ReplyDeleteUNLIKELY they had enough fuel to make it to Oman. What is sad is how so LITTLE we really know about what actually happened. There is simply too MANY hypotheticals & NO clear-cut motive to the point where we may haven't even begun to actually come close to finding it

Headwinds? Light, heavy, moderate?
ReplyDeleteThis makes more sense. Electrical failure http://www.wired.com/autopia/2014/03/mh370-electrical-fire/
ReplyDeleteCNN coverage is assuming flight 370 has gone into the sea, yet there is no indication of that. Chances are it has landed on another island, undetected, with no means of communication. Why doesn't CNN offer alternative possibilities for what might have happened to this airplane?
ReplyDeleteI feel it is pretty unlikely that the plane could have landed at Ras Al Hadd. First of all the destination is quite literally on the verge of the plane running out of fuel. Second of all i live in Muscat, the capital of Oman.Any such incident of a plane as large as the 777 landing at a village that is a tourist attraction would have definitely made headlines for weeks(which never happened). Also i feel is quite unlikely that a country as neutral as Oman would care to cover anything that happened, if at all.
